WINNECONNE – Jon Verhasselt scored 4 touchdowns to steer the Irish, who led 41-7 at halftime.

Verhasselt had landing runs of 17, 30 and 45 yards and likewise returned a kickoff 85 yards for a rating.

Verhasselt completed with 97 yards speeding and Jackson Higgins handed for 147 yards and three TDs.

Winneconne received 204 yards passing and two touchdowns from quarterback Tyler Youngbauer.

MANITOWOC – The Tigers began the season robust, defeating the Jets in an Jap Wisconsin Convention conflict.

The Tigers led 21-0 at halftime and by no means regarded again.

Cayden Popp had a terrific reference to quarterback Tyler Meyer, catching landing passes of 72 and 42 yards.
